About Us

At Elowynne, we believe a silk scarf is more than an accessory—it’s a quiet statement of intention, craftsmanship, and enduring elegance. Founded in 2020 by textile designer Clara Lin, Elowynne began as a small studio in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to reimagining heritage silk printing techniques for the modern wearer.

Our journey started with a simple question: How might we honor centuries-old sericulture and hand-block printing traditions—while designing pieces that feel relevant, wearable, and meaningful today? That inquiry led us to partner directly with family-run silk ateliers in Suzhou and Jaipur, where master artisans continue time-honored methods passed down through generations.

Every Elowynne scarf is crafted from 100% Grade-A mulberry silk, digitally printed or hand-screened with original illustrations inspired by botanical studies, archival maps, and quiet moments of urban reflection. We prioritize low-impact dyes, traceable supply chains, and responsible production—certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and audited annually for ethical labor practices.

Today, Elowynne serves a global community of thoughtful individuals who value substance alongside style—and who understand that true luxury lies not in excess, but in intention, integrity, and the quiet confidence of wearing something made well.
